    Research Interest:
In general, I'm interested in 20th-century American intellectual and religious history.

For this project, which I am overseeing and working on with a PhD student, I am interested in learning more about American religious summer camps, and if/how they incorporate an environmental ethos into their religious outreach. Specifically, at this time we are generating a catalogue of camps based on their web presence in anticipation of direct surveying. It will lead to GIS and quantitative analysis of demographic, spatial, and historical data crossed with self-reported statements on environmental behavior. This is the best of the digital humanities, blending together religious history, concerns over the environment, data analysis, and historical context.
