This public health project is part of the Refugee Men’s Health Initiative to address the global health and well-being of ethnic minority refugee men as an underserved, vulnerable, and minority population. We are exploring the health needs of recently-arrived refugee men in Chicago within a community-based participatory research study.
Students would assist with the preparation of literature reviews and manuscripts, help prepare Institutional Review Board Applications, assist in developing data collection instruments including surveys and interview guides, attend meetings with refugee service providers and refugee communities, and analyze data.
