    Research Interest:
    My project examines how millennials construct notions of belonging to the nation. That is, how racial experiences shape how young people feel as Americans. Students will learn how to conduct and analyze interviews.

    Minimum time commitment in hours per week: 6

    Qualifications of a Student:
    Preferred major or minor: Sociology, Latin American and Latino Studies or related field

    Preferred prior experience interviewing, transcribing and coding but not necessary.

    Brief Summary of what is expected from the student:
    The student will provide assistance with conducting interviews, transcribing, coding and doing preliminary analysis of interviews.
