    Research Interest:
    I am an applied microeconomist. My research program focuses on issues at the intersection of urban, labor, public economics, and economic demography. My published and ongoing work includes topics such as neighborhood sorting and neighborhood change dynamics; valuation of neighborhood amenities; social inequality and intergenerational mobility; local labor market dynamics; education policy.

    Minimum time commitment in hours per week: 8 - 10

    Qualifications of a Student:
    The minimum qualifications include:
    (1) at least a 3.5 gpa

    (2) at least one course in statistics that included working with spreadsheets or statistical software such as Excel, Stata, SAS, SPSS, or similar.

    (3) Interest in learning new skills that can be
    utilized in research areas

    Brief Summary of what is expected from the student:
    The primary duties of the student will include:

    (1) finding and downloading data sources and then constructing summaries or running regressions using statistical software

    (2) performing literature searches and writing short summaries of published articles and working papers.

    (3) Possibly co-authoring papers intended for publication depending on contribution
