    Come join our research team! We're an exciting collaboration between NIU and University of Illinois Chicago funded by the Illinois Innovation Network for 2021-2022 to study collaborative governance of stormwater, drinking water, and wastewater systems in metropolitan Chicago.

    The position would run throughout the Spring 2022 semester, an estimated 100 hours at $18 per hour (includes fringe). We're especially interested in working with students from communities and backgrounds that have been systematically underrepresented or excluded from academic research opportunities.

    The team includes Dr. Kate Albrecht and Dr. Michael Siciliano at the UIC Networks and Governance Lab, as well as NIU faculty Dr. Thomas Skuzinski and Dr. Chris Goodman.

    Minimum time commitment in hours per week: 8-10

    Qualifications of a Student:
    Qualifications:
    Junior or senior status

    Preferred qualifications:
    Strong writing and general communication skills
    Strong interpersonal skills
    Ability to occasionally travel with team to metro Chicago locations for fieldwork and meetings
    High performance in at least one course involving data collection methods, data analysis methods, or general research skills
