    I. Domains of interests: human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, aging, health informatics.

    1. Investigating the Dissemination of Fake Health News in Social Media.
    2. Correcting False Health Beliefs of Patients across the Lifespan.
    3. Understanding the Use of Smart Devices on Health Data/Behavior Management.

    Qualifications of a Student:
    1. Willing to learn new things.
    2. Interests in promoting health of adults across the lifespan.
    3. Preferred major: Psychology, Computer Science and anyone interested in applying behavioral science, computing methods to make impacts in the wild.
    4. No prior experience is needed.

    Brief Summary of what is expected from the student:
    1. Students will have the opportunity to conduct multidisciplinary research studies and gain research trainings in cognitive science, human-computer interaction and information science.
    2. Students are expected to have genuine interests in learning to conduct sophisticated research and building human knowledge through research practice.
    3. The research activities include literature review, corpus building, learning to do crowdsourcing studies (using Amazon Mechanical Turk) and offline studies.
    4. Students will have the opportunity to learn doing data analysis using statistics and natural language processing algorithm.
    5. Students are expected to meet weekly for discussing the progress.
