Research Interest:
Our laboratory works on the molecular mechanism for leukocyte activation. We are interested in how cells move from one location to another (chemotaxis), in response to various environmental stimuli. As a part of this project, the student will be exposed to basic cell biology and molecular biology techniques such as fluorescent microscopy, molecular cloning, cell culture and gene expression, as well as basic bioinformatics approach.

Minimum time commitment in hours per week:

Qualifications of a Student:
Sophomore, junior, or senior standing; Must have complete one year of chemistry and one biology course; Familiarity with computer/internet helpful.
