The Affective Science and Physiology Laboratory is a research lab based in the psychology department at the University of Illinois-Chicago, although we have strong collaborations with individuals in the departments of psychiatry and pharmacy as well. Our research is within the clinical psychology division and we use a multi-method approach to explore the relation between mood and anxiety disorders, the nature and course of depression, and more basic questions in affective science.  To this end, our research program attempts to bridge and integrate classical clinical methods with neuroscience and psychophysiological methods.
