Qualifications of a Student:
Students should have completed at least one year of general chemistry with one additional year of organic chemistry preferred. Preferred majors include chemistry, education, and psychology. No prior experience with social science research is necessary.

Brief Summary of what is expected from the student:
Current projects involve analyzing spatial thinking and problem solving with diagrams in science contexts. Undergraduate research assistants will assistant in videotaping chemistry teacher-student interactions, collecting psychometric data, and assisting senior researchers in data management and analysis. Students will be expected to attend weekly team meetings.
