Research Interest:
Atomic and molecular nanotechnology, molecular based study of disease diagnostic methods and therapeutic agents, nanobiostructures design (nanoclusters, nanoconjugates, nanoparticles), phase transitions, ab initio methods, density functional and molecular dynamics simulations, statistical mechanics, thermodynamics. Specific ongoing projects: 1. Cancer nanotechnology - Cancer detection, prevention and teatment through nanotechnology. 2. Alzheimer's disease nanotechnology - Development of very early (in vivo and in vitro) detection as well as (neuroprotective and regenerative) diagnostic methods. 3.
