Brief Summary of what is expected from the student:
The purpose of this study is assess whether women are able to exercise informed choice and are not being coerced when selecting a contraceptive method in the postpartum period. Women's satisfaction and preferences with their postpartum methods will also be ascertained. The student(s) will conduct telephone interviews with women who recently delivered an infant, to inquire about their experiences with contraception in the postpartum period. Interviews will include close-ended and open-ended questions. The student will also have an opportunity to contribute to research and future grant applications based on the results of these data collection efforts.
