Research Interest:
Dr. Hamstra-Wright's research focuses on the biomechanics of lower extremity overuse injury. Specifically, she has an interest in the prevention and treatment of lower extremity overuse injury in physically active individuals.

Potential expectations of undergraduate students working on projects with Dr. Hamstra-Wright are: perform literature searches, have a strong understanding of the literature related to the particular study they are involved in, learn the IRB process, assist with subject recruitment, help with data collection, and assist with data analysis and write-up.
